Path of evolution of Angamaly O & G Society which was initially Angamaly O &G club, was the culmination of the immense efforts put forward by group of doctors from Angamaly, Aluva and Perumbavoor.

Malanadu area consists of Muvattupuzha, Thodupuzha, Idukki, Kothamangalam, Adimali, Munnar, Kolencherry and Koothattukulam, with 3 medical colleges.

The Perinthalmanna Obstetrics and Gynecological Society (POGS) was established as non-profit and non-governmental organisation affiliated to the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FOGSI), India.

The first step of forming the Cannanore O&G Society was taken in the year 1995, when a group of dedicated gynaecologists, led by the vibrant Dr PV George and Dr Mohammed Ali started the Cannanore OBG Club.

The Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of Calicut was started by Prof. M. Thankam in 1962 and was affiliated to the federation of obstetric and Gynecological societies of India in the year 1964.

Kollam Obstetrics and Gynecology Society Started since 1998, Affiliated to KFOG since 2003, Affiliated to FOGSI since2009, Now we have 135 members.

The Cochin Obstetric and Gynecological Society was started in the year 2000 with Dr. Gracy Thomas as President, Dr. Zareena Khalid as Secretary, Dr. Lisiamma Joseph as Treasurer and Dr. Shirly John as Editor.

Thrissur Obstetric and Gynaecological Society (TOGS) is affiliated to Kerala Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (KFOG) and Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society of India (FOGSI)

Kottayam Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society- KOGS was founded in 1976 as the third society of obstetrics and gynaecology in Kerala after Trivandrum and Calicut.

The Kasaragod Obstetric and Gynaecological Society was formed on 26.11.1999 with Dr.Malathi Madhavan as founder president Dr.Poornima Kamath as founder secretary and Dr.Pusha Bhat as joint secretary and Dr.Shobha Mayya as Treasure.

Started as madhya kerala obstetrics and gynec society in 1983, Founder president Dr. R Rajan, Secretary. Dr. S. Ajitha kumary, Conducted cmes of high quality regularly under the leadership of Prof. Rajan.

The Adoor O&G society was founded and registered in the year 2010. The office bearers elected at the outset were: Patron Dr S.Pappachan, Lifeline Superspeciality hospital, Adoor.

The Trivandrum Obstetrics and Gynecological society was born in 1958 as the Kerala O&G society, the first of its kind in Kerala. It was later renamed TROGS as the number of societies and clubs grew.

The Wayanad OBG club was formed in 2003 with Dr. Omana Madhusudhanan as President, Dr. Sivakumar as Secretary, Dr. Rajani as treasurer.Various academic and social activities were being conducted from 1994 onwards.
