Thrissur Obstetric and gynaecological society ( TOGS) is affiliated to Kerala Federation of Obstetrics and gynaecology ( KFOG) and Federation of Obstetrics and gynaecology society of India ( FOGSI)

TOGS had a humble beginning in the year 1991 with 30 members. Dr V P Paily was the president and Dr A V Ramachandran the secretary.

Later with the efforts of our senior members TOGS constructed it's on building called TOGS Academia which was used for all our activities and also served as office of TOGS and KFOG.

In 2012 we became category B society at National level and then got upgraded to to category A. We have bagged best society award at National level twice , in 2015 and 2019. We also got best Society for oncology at National level twice, in 2017 and 2018. In 2018 we also got Duru Shah youth trophy.

At state level we have been the best society for last 7 years.

We have conducted AICOG 2016 which was an unparalleled success.

We also had the opportunity to successfully conduct All Kerala conferences and Yuva fogsi conferences multiple Times.

TOGSICON which is an annual international conference , is our proud project.

At present we have 297 members led by by our President dr Nishi Roshini and our Secretary dr Prameela Menon.

We always try to excel ourselves and there by benefit Society at large.

We hope to achieve further heights guided by the wisdom of our seniors and propelled by dynamism of our young members.
