The Kollam society was the brainchind of few of our veteran leaders who in those days were working in Victoria hospital Kollam. It started as a gynaecology club which later on transformed to a society in 1998.The founder members were Dr Narayana Kurup, Dr Devaki, DrSusanamma to name a few. We have been affiliated to KFOG since 2003 and FOGSI since2009.

Our society has been actively involved in all KFOG activities and we had the privilage to host AKCOG in 2023.In addition we have conducted two laparoscopic workshops with hands on training in 2024 and 2025.Our adolescent health committee and oncology committee activities are both very actively executed with HPV vaccine drive and breast cancer awareness programs.

Our monthly CME’s are a mix of academic and cultural programs to unwind and share our experiences. We are a committed group always striving to achieve greater heights.
